FAQ

How does plate analysis work, and how accurate is it?

AI recognises the foods in your photo and their share of the plate; nutrition values are calculated from home-cooking profiles and food databases. The result is an estimate. Before saving you can correct the dish name, components and portion; values are recalculated from your corrections.

The analysis couldn't be completed

Take the photo from above, in good light, with the whole plate visible. Check your internet connection; analysis usually takes 10–30 seconds. You can also add the food by searching for it.

I scanned a barcode but the product wasn't found

The product may not be in our database yet. Try searching by name, pick a similar product, or enter the values with “Add manually” from the ⊕ menu in Diary. Tell us about missing products and we'll try to add them.

My Apple Health data (steps, sleep, heart rate) doesn't show

Check the permissions in Settings → Health → Data Access & Devices → NutriTR. Sleep stages, resting heart rate and HRV usually need an Apple Watch; without one, “time in bed” from the iPhone sleep schedule is used. Pull down on the Summary screen to refresh.

I don't get notifications

Make sure Settings → Notifications → NutriTR is on. Try Profile → Reminders → Send test notification in the app. Focus modes can delay notifications.

Widgets and the Lock Screen fasting timer

Long-press an empty area of the Home Screen → Edit → Add Widget → “NutriTR”. When you start a fast, the timer appears on the Lock Screen (and in the Dynamic Island on supported models); Settings → NutriTR → Live Activities must be on.

How do I change the app language?

In Profile → Language choose Turkish, English or your phone's language.

Does it work offline?

Logging, diary, water, weight, fasting and calculators work offline. Plate analysis, food search, barcodes, recipes and the insight of the day need an internet connection.

How do I delete my data?

Your logs live only on your phone; deleting the app deletes them. Entries written to Apple Health stay there and can be deleted in the Health app. Analysis records on our server are deleted automatically after 30 days; email us if you want them removed sooner. Details: Privacy Policy.

How is my calorie goal calculated?

Basal metabolism uses the Mifflin-St Jeor formula, daily expenditure your activity level, and your goal adjusts it (lose −500 kcal, gain +300 kcal). You can also set your own goal in Profile.
